About GOAT Numbers
GOAT Numbers puts the career numbers of great players next to each other. Every table shows the numbers as they were recorded: games, goals, assists and points, as totals and per game. Nothing is adjusted for era, for league scoring or for anything else.
What you will find
- Career totals and per-game values, for the regular season and the playoffs.
- Every season, with age, team and games played.
- Players lined up at the same age, as running totals and season by season.
- Awards, and head-to-head records when the players met.
- Questions and answers that are calculated from the data on this site.
What you will not find
Opinions about who is better, rankings, or numbers recomputed for another era. If a number is on this site, it is the recorded number or a plain sum or division of recorded numbers.
Where the numbers come from
Each dataset has a source, a collection date and a list of what it was checked against. All of it is on the Sources page. A dataset marked as draft has not been fully verified yet.
